Over the course of about one year, I put together a deal for the purchase and re-development of the Angel Industries building on Concord and Robert St. in St. Paul. It was one of those deals that fell apart in the 11th hour.  Very disappointing to say the least, but some great ideas came out of it, the best of which is illustrated below. 

The concept was to restore the building to a mixed use consisting of retail, office and residential, and reviving the name "Astor."  The building used to house a theatre known as the Astor Theatre, and the name is so cool it just had to be used.

A rooftop patio was also planned, which would be fantastic given the proximity to downtown and the view of the skyline.
