The Old Man River Properties project was an interesting one. As one of the owners of the 10,000 square foot commercial building, my company Banner Development, Inc. general contracted the construction of a coffee shop and cafe in what was (for over 40 years) a pharmacy owned and operated by the previous building owner.
Major structural work had to be done prior to the actual buildout of the cafe. Once the structural work was complete the real work began. Despite challenges along the way, the project was successfully completed, and the cafe opened with great fanfare.
